DJ Adblock debuts with a unique blend of experimental dance-floor sounds, serving as both storytelling tools and a medium for self-expression. From mutant drum machine beats to irresistible synthesizer hooks, Bounded captures the evolution of a rich DIY music movement that remains largely underexplored. Using home recording techniques, DJ Adblock’s vibrant electronic wizardry delves into the cultural landscape of this era. The record sits at a crossroads of Techno-Pop and Post-Industrial, shaped by culture shock and narratives of dystopian worlds. The Pressure Company continues its mission to champion innovative material, capturing the essence of the modern dance scene. With an oeuvre of raw electronic experimentation, DJ Adblock draws inspiration from the sounds of the city, modulars, old machines, and distortion. The result is a bold interpretation of crunching rhythms juxtaposed with vibrant electronics. Refusing to pander to expectations, the project explores dance music as a space for genuine sonic innovation. For this release, we've teamed up with iconic DJ and producer Jeremy Flagelo, who delivers a world-beat psych-out remix that elevates the tempo for late-night peaks and non-stop ecstatic dancing. All tracks were recorded, mixed, and mastered in Berlin.
